November 21, 2013 Monthly Card Class

We will be making 3 cards - a wobble, fall image and sentiment, and distress ink with embossed images. There will be lots of fun techniques. 

October 29, 2013 Fall Friends - my version of Monique Griffith design

My attempt to recreate a Monique Griffith design called Fall Friends.  Dimensions may be off since I did not have her instructions.  I enjoyed the challenge of creating this layout however I will say it took me several hours to cut the images, ink the images, emboss the die cuts.  It will be a while before I create a layout this detailed.  Thank you Monique Griffith for the inspiration.  Also you can buy the instructions to her designs on her etsy shop - prices are very reasonable too.

October 22 and October 29, 2013 Monthly Cards

 

 

Variety of  card which were completed over 2 class sessions - Oct 22 and Oct 29.  We completed a slider card (witch on broom), an action wobble card (vampire), a side step card, and witches boots accented with a spider web punch.  Lots of fun to create and used a variety of cartridges, including using the new universal overlay.  Hope you can join in November for some Thanksgiving and other holiday cards.





January 7, 2014 Monthly Project

Here is our 2 page layout for December.  The background papers are from the Bella Blvd Snapshots collection, Simple Stories Color Vibe, and Queen and Co. paper collections.  Hope you can join me and begin to scrap your Disney pictures as I am trying to do too.

Here is the 2 page layout for November.  We will be using some fun papers and embellishments from Bella Blvd.'s Snapshot collection.  We will use a border punch too.  Lots of fun.  Hope you can join me for this class.

October 15 2013 Monthly Project

Continuing with the Disney layouts, Chip and Dale 2 page layout.  Hope everyone is having a great week.  The beautiful fall colors are in full bloom -- hope everyone is able to enjoy them and perhaps some apple cider, carmel apples, and donuts too.  Hope to see you in class.

Melody Lane 5000 Subscriber Challenge on You Tube

Just wanted to let you know of some really fun channels on You Tube - Melody Lane and Melody Lane Vlogs.  She is having a 5000 Subscriber challenge with lots of crafty goodies for the winners (yes, there will be more than 1).  The challenge was posted today, September 22, 2013, and you can find all the details for this challenge on You Tube, MelodyLaneVlogs, video #81.  You have until Nov 15, 2013 to enter.  I enjoy both her channels for some crafty projects and a fun and upbeat message.  Best of luck everyone on this challenge.

October 1, 2013 Monthly Project

Ok I know it is the Halloween month but I have so many Disney layouts in my head and lots of pictures so I will be continuing this theme for a little longer.  I will continue to make cards which definitely reflect the season and holidays.  Look for future posts with my cards even though I have discontinued classes at the moment.  Hope everyone is having a super day!!!
