We are continuing with the Toy Story cartridge.  This layout will be another with Woody, Jesse and Bullseye.  Sorry guys but I just think these images are too cute to not devote another 2 page layout too.  Hope everyone is having a fantastic holiday season and looking forward to an even better 2015.  I know we would like a little less stressful 2015.  Looking forward to seeing everyone in class or out doing some crafty shopping.

November 5, 2014 Monthly Project

We will continue with the Tinker Bell and Friends cartridge.  Shown above is our project.  It has lots of bling, glitter and punches.  Oh, yes, you might also note that we are meeting on a Wednesday in November since Tuesday, our normal day, is election day. I think this project concludes our set of layouts with the Tinker Bell and Friends cartridge.  Fall is certainly here, with brilliant fall leaf colors and, of course, the cooler weather.  I'm not ready for the cooler temperatures but I do love the color burst in Fall.  Hope you are able to join me for this project and that everyone is having an awesome week.

October 21, 2014 Monthly Project

We are continuing the Tinker Bell and Friends cartridge layouts.  Today is Silvermist the last Fairy shown on this cartridge.  The pattern paper is unique and therefore I layout will be of a more simple design.  Still plenty of glitz and glitter, because isn't that what fairies are all about?!!  I plan to post a picture of this layout no later than Monday, October 6, 2014.  Hope everyone is having an awesome day.

September 9 2014 Monthly Project

It is hard to believe that I am planning classes for September 2014.  Well we are continuing with the Tinker Bell and Friends cartridge.  Tinker Bell, Fawn, Rosita, Iridessa and Silvermist will each have their own page.  Each page will have lots of glitter paper, flourishes and gemstone accents.  Most of the glitter paper for the Fawn layout is from the Recollections Brights or Pastels or Metallics paper pads.  I have enjoyed creating the fairy movement using the rhinestone flourishes.  I hope you are able to join me in class.  It will be lots of fun.

August 26, 2014 Monthly Project

We are gong to begin a Tinker Bell series of layouts using the Disney Tinker Bell cartridge.  As with many of the Disney images when making the smaller size images the facial features -- particularly eyes and mouth become problematic so I will try to keep them as large as possible yet still creating a pleasing layout.  I would love it if Cricut and Disney would agree to make new cartridges or new digital content for some of the recent movies -- like Frozen, Planes, etc.  I'll keep hoping.  Stay tuned for the layout design later this month.  Stay well and look forward to seeing you in class or at a crop or crafty shopping.

Update: Today is August 10th and I am posting the layout.  We will be adding some rhinestone or pearl flourishes plus glitter, glitter glue, wink of stella brush glitter pens to enhance our layout.  The photo mats are from the Bo Bunny Enchanted Garden Collection.  Perfect.  This layout actually combines vintage with glitz -- something I have never done before but will try to incorporate as I work through the Tinker Bell cartridge and respective layouts.  Hope everyone is well.  Just an aside, have you ever tried to fit your images to a pattern background and its close but not quite there -- well that's what happened yesterday at a Cricut crop.  I spent the day struggling with the layout background.  In the end I am sure I will pick new pattern background.  There were so many Disney characters/images I wanted to create but couldn't disengage from my pattern paper dilemma.  Today is a new day and off to create something new and different.  Stamp Club is also today so I know I will be inspired by all the lovely creations from the Stamp Club members.  As always, stay well and enjoy this gorgeous weather.

August 12, 2014 Monthly Project

This is the second and final Aladdin layout and concludes using the Cricut cartridge Dreams Come True -- at least for now.  As you can see there is some inking, a mix of pattern, glitter, and some bling.  I hope everyone is having a super summer and would love if you can join me for this fun class.

May 27, 2014 Monthly Project

Just a quick post today to show the picture for the second Ariel underwater layout.  I did see on Pintrest a layout with Ariel elbows on rock which set my creative juices flowing and here is my creation.  Nothing like the inspiration but I am very happy with the outcome. Hope you are able to join me for this fun class.  Lots of inking, and stickles (glitter glue) plus borders, glitter paper, and just fun things to create our layouts.  I did add some bubbles (rain dots by Cloud 9) to the layout but the picture I took wasn't great so sticking with the photo above.  The weather is finally spring like and the sunshine always brightens the spirit.  Happy crafting everyone.

May 13, 2014 Monthly Project

The layout design was inspired by a design entitled Ariel that I saw on Pinterest by Carla, the avid scrapbooker.  Thank you Carla for sharing your amazing design!  Of course I changed things up but her design was absolutely wonderful.  I encourage everyone to checkout her blog - the avid scrapbooker.  I believe she also offers some of her layouts for sale on Etsy.  Hope you are able to join me on this fun layout.  PS I did add some Cloud 9 Rain Dots in the color sky to add bubbles to the layout and a pearl to the shell title - after the picture was taken (is there any other way?).  Stay well and enjoy the great spring weather (finally) everyone!!!
